just watched Pan's Ladybrinth and The Illusionist
both were brilliant movies
but not very entertaining
which i prefer?
the plot : Pan's
character : Illusionist
PAn is made in a way to mislead the viewers into thinking that it was a fairy tale
about a girl who were told she is a princess of the "fairie land" by a nauf
she went about complishing 3 mission to prove that she is worth to be the princess
thou the plot is intrigueing .. the performance by the little girl was not captivating
it was rather blend and a little annoying at times
The illusionist is quite a slow moving movie and comparable to the the magic show by hugh jackman ( forgot the title)
just that the illusionist didn't really show how he did the trick
and his tricks were rather too exaggerated
but the master of illusion was so charming
so handsome
but these 2 movies not really that great and din worth 4 / 5 stars
looking forward to " the letter from iwo jimo"
heard it's a damn good war movie told from the jap's side
no more propaganda from the freaking americans !! yeay
today is 25 th

LinYan the hairdresser !!!
easy off BANG!!!!!
the sniper ( snip snip) completed her mission of clumsily cutting off her bangs
imagine looking at the mirror and clutching a handful of fringe
when u thot u had aimed
u ended up snipping empty air...
when i wan to go front...
i ended up going back..
the reflection is making my hands go clumsy and unaware of directions
linyan the hairdresser never gives up
with a bit of agaration and hair sense

for i feel so proud of myself
except for a few longer strands
i dun see much prob
if i had gone to a hairdresser
it would have cost me at least 10 bucks
and i may not be so satisfied
haha
now i finally looked diff from my old hairstyle
the reason why i did was becos my not long not short fringe din go veri well with my rebonded hair
i regretted asking the anutie not to straightened my fringe
hai..stupid request
end up my fringe will sometimes curl due to my frequent sweep to the back
tho 21 yr old is a lil too old for doll head
but u think i care
haha
now now
anyone who wans a short bang pls come to me ok
i'll cut free for u all

REBONDED
with my inner true self
with my true desire
with my artificial beauty
with my old time long smooth anti frizz hair
i welcome the smaller head me
i welcome the thinner hair me
and i love long flowy rebonded hair
this was nothing i had in the past cos my hair was quite short when i rebonded
but not this time
the texture felt perfect
and the look is so natural
nothing like rebonding
YIPPEEE
and it cost a freaking 120 bucks
for a hair that is near my waist !!!
tell me it is cheap

while iw as waiting for my dad to pick me up for dinner

i always hate the part of the hair where i tucked behind my ear
it always get round and puffy whenever i tuck it out
and make my da bing lian look even rounder

Update of the week
i went to a camp with ah bu neh where she had an emotion attack
well... can't blame her...
cos we faced special kids as our campee
they are really a handful lot..
but yet nice and adorable
just slow at time...
well...all the time
but i had a fun time at the camp
and i realised i had tanned unknowingly during the kayaking trip
whoa !!!
yesterday was a day of pampering
i went for a full classic manicure and pedicure myself at jurong point
enjoyed the pedicure thoroughly
but just that the massage was too quick
it lasted onli like 30 sec each foot
wtf
but she did scrubbed my feet for dead skin
tho there ain't much to start wit :P
on a side note
the lady beside me gave me a shock of my life
as our foot were soaked in hot water and chemicals to soften the dead skin
u can actualli scrap the dead skin off with a stick
and guess wat i saw
when the girlw as scraping her feet
i can see layers and layers of dead skin...wet and moist ...coming off
they look exactly like toothpaste...just that they are greyish
but the amt is akin to a squeezed out tooth paste
the girl has the clean the stick 3 4 times per feet to fully scrap the dead skin off
YUCKS
imagine having to face that dead skin grey paste at close proximity
i finally understand why am i paying 48 for a mani and pedi
cos pedi is bloody degrading job
although i enjoyed the session
and have gorgeous nails now
i dun think i'll ever go for another pedi
cos i juz dun feel that it is worthwhile
after all
she din give me any foot scrub
no mask
inadequate massage
well...
it wasn't worth my money...since i din have a dirty leg ..according to my standard..hiaks
so once is enough
i'll stick to my express for now
and pedi will be by myself

i realised mahjong is good bonding session with my family....
played mahjong with my sis bro and cousin on sat sun...
played with my sis bro and mum today
we actualli talked more than we would for a whole month
amaxing isn't it
the wonders of mahjong
i have a n aching pain in my left waist
i fear the worst
the infection may have gotten to my kidney
zee called me siao
but it doesn't go away
then suddenly felt feverish
took a panadol and feel better
it doesn't help that i am going for a camp on wed to fri
and when i went to see the doc today
he was closed for dinner
damn it
maybe i am juz paranoid
i am sick of fearing i'll be sick
